Advent is a season of waiting for the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It’s a time of prayerful expectation for the ways in which God will fulfill his promises to his chosen people. It’s a time of drawing closer to God as his everlasting presence drawers closer to us (c.f. James 4:8).
